Morshead Home is an Eden In OZ & NZ Facility

Eden in Oz is about building human habitats, bringing forth the idea of a garden paradise life and living close to nature. It is the future of Aged Care. It is about giving elders the opportunity to give care as well as receive it. It’s about promoting spontaneity and variety. It’s about human growth.

Studies have shown that Aged Care Homes who have implemented the Eden philosophy have recorded a reduction in infection and death rates, a decrease in incontinence, irritability and reliance on medications.

Studies have also shown that there has been an increase in feelings of self worth, and feelings of empowerment, personal growth, independence and overall quality of life have been significantly improved.

• Resident led activities such as building a vegetable garden, playing Bingo.
