Morshead Home is a standalone ageing in place, Not-For-Profit entity governed by a Board of Directors. The Board as outlined in our constitution consists of members where a simple majority must be currently serving or have served in the military. This ensures Morshead Home remains committed to the founding needs identified in 1964. Morshead Home is currently accredited until October 2013 and has been providing care to the Veteran community since the mid 1960′s. Since 1997 and the introduction of the Aged Care Act, Morshead Home has extended our care to include all other aged persons and all special needs groups.

Our facility comprises 79 permanent residential beds including two respite beds and five dedicated older person’s mental health beds. We also administer 15 short-term rental units and 40 retirement village units, and provide community aged care packages.
